Summonses to Show Cause - Associations of employing contractors

Today the Commission has issued summonses (PDF, 368.1 KB) on its own initiative and listed a Full Bench hearing at 9:30am on the 31 August 2023.

To show cause why the Full Bench should not take such action pursuant to Part 5, Chapter 6 of the Industrial Relations Act 1996 to order the cancellation of the following associations of employing contractors on the basis that they have ceased to exist:

New South Wales Road Transport Association

The Long Distance Road Transport Association of Australia

The Quarry Masters' Association of N.S.W.

The Sand and Soil Producers Association of N.S.W.

N.R.M.C.A. (NSW) Ltd

The Brick Manufacturers' Association of New South Wales

The Asphalt Manufacturers and Contractors Association of N.S.W.

The Roof Tile Manufacturers' and Contractors Association of New South Wales

Australian Courier and Taxi Truck Operators' Association
