New Form to Notify Objections Pursuant to s 173

The Rule Committee has approved a new form for use when parties notify a s173 objection. The introduction of this form follows a consultation process with the Commission's User Group and the Law Society.

There is no requirement for the parties to use the form under the Industrial Relations Act 1996 or the Industrial Relations Commission Rules 2022. Parties may continue to notify orally or by other appropriate means. However, use of the form will assist the Commission to process the objection efficiently.
